An-Nazi'at Malaikat yang Mencabut 46 ayat بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ وَالنّٰزِعٰتِ غَرۡقًا Wan naazi 'aati gharqa 1. Demi malaikat yang mencabut nyawa dengan keras. وَّالنّٰشِطٰتِ نَشۡطًا Wan naa shi taati nashta 2. Demi malaikat yang mencabut nyawa dengan lemah lembut. وَّالسّٰبِحٰتِ سَبۡحًا Wass saabi-haati sabha 3. Demi malaikat yang turun dari langit dengan cepat, فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبۡقًا Fass saabi qooti sabqa 4. dan malaikat yang mendahului dengan kencang, فَالۡمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمۡرًا‌ ۘ‏ Fal mu dab-bi raati amra 5. dan malaikat yang mengatur urusan dunia. يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ Yawma tarjufur raajifa 6. Sungguh, kamu akan dibangkitkan pada hari ketika tiupan pertama mengguncangkan alam, تَتۡبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ Tatba'u har raadifa 7. tiupan pertama itu diiringi oleh tiupan kedua. قُلُوۡبٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّاجِفَةٌ Quluubuny-yau maaiziw-waaji-fa 8. Hati manusia pada waktu itu merasa sangat takut, اَبۡصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ‌ Absaa ruhaa khashi'ah 9. pandangannya tunduk. يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرۡدُوۡدُوۡنَ فِى الۡحَـافِرَةِ ؕ‏ Ya quu luuna a-inna lamar duu duuna fil haafirah 10. Orang-orang kafir berkata, "Apakah kita benar-benar akan dikembalikan kepada kehidupan yang semula? ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةً Aizaa kunna 'izaa man-nakhirah 11. Apakah akan dibangkitkan juga apabila kita telah menjadi tulang belulang yang hancur?" قَالُوۡا تِلۡكَ اِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ‌ Qoolu tilka izan karratun khaasirah. 12. Mereka berkata, "Kalau demikian, itu adalah suatu pengembalian yang merugikan." فَاِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجۡرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ Fa inna ma hiya zajratuw-waahida 13. Maka pengembalian itu hanyalah dengan sekali tiupan saja. فَاِذَا هُمۡ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ ؕ‏ Faizaa hum biss saahirah 14. Maka seketika itu mereka hidup kembali di bumi yang baru. هَلۡ اَتٰٮكَ حَدِيۡثُ مُوۡسٰى‌ۘ Hal ataaka hadiithu Musaa 15. Sudahkah sampai kepadamu Muhammad kisah Musa? اِذۡ نَادٰٮهُ رَبُّهٗ بِالۡوَادِ الۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى‌ۚ‏ Iz nadaahu rabbuhu bil waadil-muqad dasi tuwa 16. Ketika Tuhan memanggilnya Musa di lembah suci yaitu Lembah Tuwa; اِذۡهَبۡ اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰى Izhab ilaa fir'auna innahu taghaa. 17. pergilah engkau kepada Firaun! Sesungguhnya dia telah melampaui batas, فَقُلۡ هَلۡ لَّكَ اِلٰٓى اَنۡ تَزَكّٰى Faqul hal laka ilaa-an tazakka. 18. Maka katakanlah kepada Firaun, "Adakah keinginanmu untuk membersihkan diri dari kesesatan, وَاَهۡدِيَكَ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشٰى‌ۚ Wa ahdi yaka ila rabbika fatakh sha 19. dan engkau akan kupimpin ke jalan Tuhanmu agar engkau takut kepada-Nya?" فَاَرٰٮهُ الۡاٰيَةَ الۡكُبۡرٰى Fa araahul-aayatal kubra. 20. Lalu Musa memperlihatkan kepadanya mukjizat yang besar. Episodes 343 Arabic النـّازِعات Translation Those Who Drag Forth Verses 46 About Surah An-Naziat 079 An-Naziat This is a Makki Surah, and is titled after the kind of angel that violently pull out the souls from the sinners, and are mentioned in the first verse. Swearing by different kinds of angels, Allaah SWT says that the Day of Resurrection will commence with a blast, followed by a second one, and the hearts will tremble from the sounds. Allaah SWT sent Musa AS to Firawn to ask him to purify himself and fear AllaahSWT. But Firawn was arrogant and claimed divinity for himself, so he was destroyed for his tyranny. Men should reflect if their creation is difficult or that of the heavens, and if Allaah SWT can create them once, then why can he not repeat them. The disbelievers kept asking the Prophet ﷺ when the final hour will be established, so he has been asked to convey that he has no authority over this matter and is only a warner. بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 790 Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. وَٱلنَّـٰزِعَٰتِ غَرۡقٗا 791 Wan naazi aati gharqa Sahih InternationalBy those [angels] who extract with violence وَٱلنَّـٰشِطَٰتِ نَشۡطٗا 792 Wan naa shi taati nashta Sahih InternationalAnd [by] those who remove with ease وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَٰتِ سَبۡحٗا 793 Wass saabi-haati sabha Sahih InternationalAnd [by] those who glide [as if] swimming فَٱلسَّـٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقٗا 794 Fass saabi qaati sabqa Sahih InternationalAnd those who race each other in a race فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرٗا 795 Fal mu dab-bi raati amra Sahih InternationalAnd those who arrange [each] matter, يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ 796 Yawma tarjufur raajifa Sahih InternationalOn the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ 797 Tatba’u har raadifa Sahih InternationalThere will follow it the subsequent [one]. قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ 798 Quloobuny-yau maaiziw-waaji-fa Sahih InternationalHearts, that Day, will tremble, أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ 799 Absaa ruhaa khashi’ah Sahih InternationalTheir eyes humbled. يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ Ya qoo loona a-inna lamar doo doona fil haafirah Sahih InternationalThey are [presently] saying, “Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا نَّخِرَةٗ Aizaa kunna izaa man-nakhirah Sahih InternationalEven if we should be decayed bones? قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذٗا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ Qaalu tilka izan karratun khaasirah. Sahih InternationalThey say, “That, then, would be a losing return.” فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ Fa inna ma hiya zajratuw-waahida Sahih InternationalIndeed, it will be but one shout, فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ Faizaa hum biss saahirah Sahih InternationalAnd suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth’s surface. هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ Hal ataaka hadeethu Musaa Sahih InternationalHas there reached you the story of Moses? – إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى Iz nadaahu rabbuhu bil waadil-muqad dasi tuwa Sahih InternationalWhen his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ Izhab ilaa fir’auna innahu taghaa. Sahih International“Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ Faqul hal laka ilaa-an tazakka. Sahih InternationalAnd say to him, Would you [be willing to] purify yourself وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ Wa ahdi yaka ila rabbika fatakh sha Sahih InternationalAnd let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'” فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ Fa araahul-aayatal kubra. Sahih InternationalAnd he showed him the greatest sign, فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ Fa kazzaba wa asaa. Sahih InternationalBut Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ Thumma adbara yas’aa. Sahih InternationalThen he turned his back, striving. فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ Fa hashara fanada. Sahih InternationalAnd he gathered [his people] and called out فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ Faqala ana rabbu kumul-a’laa. Sahih InternationalAnd said, “I am your most exalted lord.” فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ Fa-akha zahul laahu nakalal aakhirati wal-oola. Sahih InternationalSo Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ Inna fee zaalika la’ibratal limaiy-yaksha Sahih InternationalIndeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا A-antum a shaddu khalqan amis samaa-u banaaha. Sahih InternationalAre you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا Raf’a sam kaha fasaw waaha Sahih InternationalHe raised its ceiling and proportioned it. وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا Wa aghtasha lailaha wa akhraja duhaaha. Sahih InternationalAnd He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ Wal arda b’ada zaalika dahaaha. Sahih InternationalAnd after that He spread the earth. أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا Akhraja minha maa-aha wa mar aaha. Sahih InternationalHe extracted from it its water and its pasture, وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا Wal jibala arsaaha. Sahih InternationalAnd the mountains He set firmly مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ Mataa’al lakum wali an aamikum. Sahih InternationalAs provision for you and your grazing livestock. فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ Fa-izaa jaaa’atit taaam matul kubraa. Sahih InternationalBut when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity – يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ Yauma Yata zakkarul insaanu ma sa’aa. Sahih InternationalThe Day when man will remember that for which he strove, وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ Wa burrizatil-jaheemu limany-yaraa. Sahih InternationalAnd Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see – فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ Fa ammaa man taghaa. Sahih InternationalSo as for he who transgressed وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا Wa aasaral hayaatad dunyaa Sahih InternationalAnd preferred the life of the world, فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ Fa innal jaheema hiyal maawaa. Sahih InternationalThen indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ Wa ammaa man khaafa maqaama Rabbihee wa nahan nafsa anil hawaa Sahih InternationalBut as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ Fa innal jannata hiyal ma’waa Sahih InternationalThen indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا Yas’aloonaka anis saa’ati ayyaana mursaahaa Sahih InternationalThey ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour when is its arrival? فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ Feema anta min zikraahaa Sahih InternationalIn what [position] are you that you should mention it? إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ Ilaa Rabbika muntahaa haa Sahih InternationalTo your Lord is its finality. إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰهَا Innamaaa anta munziru maiy yakshaahaa Sahih InternationalYou are only a warner for those who fear it. كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا Ka annahum Yawma yarawnahaa lam yalbasooo illaa ashiyyatan aw duhaahaa Sahih InternationalIt will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
